NISHISHIBA – NIK – 3PH INDUCTION MOTOR

The Nishishiba NIK (3-Phase Induction Motor) is a rugged, heavy-duty squirrel-cage AC motor engineered by Japan’s Nishishiba Electric Co., Ltd. specifically for demanding marine and severe industrial environments. Built to strict major maritime classification society standards (such as NK, ABS, DNV, and LRs), this series is optimized to drive critical shipboard machinery including cooling water pumps, air compressors, winches, and ventilation blowers. The NIK series features high start-up torque, vibration-resistant frame construction, high ambient thermal limits, and drip-proof or totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) IP-rated protective enclosures.
