BRONZE – CYLINDER INDICATOR VALVE – ENGINE SPARE
The Bronze Cylinder Indicator Valve is a heavy-duty marine engine component designed for monitoring internal combustion pressures on 2-stroke and 4-stroke diesel engines. Mounted directly onto the cylinder cover, this high-pressure shut-off valve provides a reliable connection port for mechanical engine indicators, digital pressure sensors, and peak pressure gauges used during engine diagnostic procedures. Cast from high-tensile nickel-aluminum bronze or gunmetal, it offers superior resistance to marine corrosion, high thermal stress, and severe vibration. Designed for operating working pressures up to 200 bar (2,900 psi) and peak temperatures exceeding 400°C, it features a heat-dissipating handwheel, gas-tight metal-to-metal seating, and standardized male threading (such as W27x1/10″ or BSP) for safe, leak-free performance during combustion analysis.
